Insights and Lessons Learned Verifying the QoS Engine of Cisco’s Quantum Flow Processor.
This talk presents key lessons learned verifying the Quality of Service engine of Cisco’s Quantum Flow Processor. The talk covers how a team of eight verification engineers achieved the target of 1,000 new QoS tests per day, and why this was critical for achieving first-pass success on a project of this type. The talk is a high level overview of the lessons learned from automated test generation, automated test scoring, applying SystemC to QoS, CPU farm management schemes, and test and result organization strategies for multiple model types.
